Winter Solstice Retreat
SOMA, Byron Bay

The Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year; our invitation to you to slow down, simplify + turn inward.

Rather than forcing momentum, this retreat honours the beauty of pause. Soft + slow living.

Led by Aiko, the experience blends yoga (Yin + flow), Pilates, meditation, sound healing, warmth, atmosphere + intuitive facilitation in a way that feels grounding + welcoming. Aiko holds space to simply be.

❋ Intentional Soft Living

No pressure to emerge transformed, productive or β€œfixed.” This is a softer approach to wellness that values nervous system restoration, quietness, pleasure, + deep rest over constant self-improvement.

❋ A Beautiful Place to Disappear For a While

Set amongst the tranquility of Byron’s hinterland, SOMA is Zen simplicity with every detail is designed to support softness. Nourishing food will be served by the incredible Simon, our private chef + Tak returns for massage.

  • "I’ve done a lot of wellness retreats over the years, but this was the first one that didn’t make me feel like I needed to become a different person by the end of it; in fact, I felt more myself. Everything felt thoughtful, without being over-structured."

    Courtney Norris

  • "What Aiko creates is incredibly rare. It’s luxurious without being performative, deeply restorative without forcing vulnerability, and beautifully curated in a way that feels effortless. There was so much attention to detail. The music, the lighting, the pacing of the days, the warmth of the space, even the table settings! Aiko's retreats are a more beautiful way of living.”

    Rebecca Kroon

  • "The biggest shift for me was how safe it felt to simply rest. No pressure to network, optimise my time or feel pressure to participate. Some of my favourite moments were the quiet ones; chilling over breakfast, reading in the afternoon sun, the evening sound sessions, slow conversations after dinner. It reminded me how long it had been since I’d done anything without urgency attached to it!"
